Where the courses are

San José del Cabo and Puerto Los Cabos

The eastern end of the region, close to the airport and the old town of San José del Cabo. Puerto Los Cabos lies here, not on the Corridor between the two towns.

The Tourist Corridor

The coastal stretch along Highway 1 between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It is not a town of its own, but a line of resorts and bays. Our guide to where to stay in Los Cabos explains the Corridor as a base.

Cabo San Lucas

The western end at the tip of the peninsula, with the marina and El Arco. If you are based there, the Cabo San Lucas guide covers the town in detail.

The public rate includes 18 holes, a cart, range balls, use of the practice area and food and drinks during the round. Prices for children, online service fees and tax surcharges can come on top; check the final amount when you book. For most visiting golfers on a budget, a twilight round outside the high season is the cheapest way to play this course.

Passes follow their own season dates, so do not mix them with the public rate table above.

Seasons for golf in Los Cabos

The prices show where demand lies: the high season runs from November to mid-May. The eastern Pacific hurricane season runs from 15 May to 30 November, and storms can occasionally form outside those dates. The off-season rates in summer are lower, but heat and storms are part of the deal.

Winter golf also fits well with whale watching: whale tours run from about December to April. Our Los Cabos weather guide explains the seasons in more detail.
